ORAL HISTORY CONFERENCE SEEKS PROPOSALS

History of Reading News. Vol.XXII No.2 (1999:Spring)

A call for papers has been given for the Oral History Conference in Istanbul, Turkey, June 15-19, 2000. The theme of the conference is Crossroads of History: Experience, Memory, and Orality. Proposals are invited from around the world for contributions to the XIth Conference. The proposal may be for a conference paper, workshop session or thematic panel. The Conference Committee will confirm acceptance or rejection of proposals by July 1, 1999. The final paper must reach the organizers before November 1, 1999, for publication in the Conference Proceedings. Deadline for proposals is May 1, 1999.
